My Approach
Meet Dr. Allick
I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Psychiatry, to me, is about more than symptom management.
It is about listening deeply, understanding what has shaped a person’s experience, and helping create a path forward that feels safe, informed, and possible.
I take a collaborative approach to care. When building treatment plans, I consider not only symptoms but also relationships, culture, community, physical well-being, and the stressors that affect daily life. My goal is to make sure care feels thoughtful, personal, and aligned with what matters most to you.
As an enrolled Tribal member of Turtle Mt Band of Chippwea, I am especially mindful of the ways culture, identity, and generational experiences shape healing. I strive to provide care that honors both clinical excellence and Indigenous ways of knowing, while meeting each person exactly where they are.
"Healing begins with compassion, cultural respect, and the courage to believe in your own strength."
